  1. Label circuit diagrams with voltages, currents, node identifications, and mesh identifications.
  2. Write Ohm's Law equations for each resistor in a circuit.
  3. Write Kirchhoff's Voltage Law for each mesh in a circuit.
  4. Write Kirchhoff's Current Law for appropriate nodes in a circuit.
  5. Solve the circuit equations to find all unknown voltages and currents.
